Duties
- Engage with customers to understand their automotive needs and preferences.
- Provide detailed information about vehicles, including features, specifications, and financing options.
- Maintain an organized sales pipeline to track leads and follow up with potential buyers.
- Conduct test drives with customers and address any questions or concerns they may have.
- Negotiate sales terms and close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the sales management team to develop strategies for increasing sales performance.
- Utilize retail math skills to assist customers with payment plans and financing options.
- Maintain knowledge of current inventory, market trends, and competitor offerings.
- Uphold excellent phone etiquette when communicating with clients via phone or email.
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in automotive sales.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple clients and leads effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with customers confidently.
- Ability to negotiate effectively to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
- Proficiency in math, particularly retail math, for calculating payments and financing options.
- Familiarity with sales management processes and techniques.
- A customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding service.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
